Biosphere function of human race

    There are various opinions on biosphere functions of the mankind. A few of these opinions are the following: A) Mankind does not have biosphere function In other words, mankind is the following towards the biosphere: 1) cancerous tumor 2) parasite B) Mankind has the biosphere function and it is one of the following: 1) The function of humankind is to extract and burn(use) oil , gas, coal ; to mine ores , use metals from these ores, and flash them into the ocean with wastewaters. (V.V.Malahov, member of RAN, professor in biology , department of Moscow State University); 2) The function of humankind is to transform biosphere into noosphere (Vernadskiy V.I., renown scientist , founder of biogeochemistry); 3) The function of humankind is to create with the help of genetic engineering new intellectual species; 4) The function of our mankind is identical to the function of blue-green algae (Cyanobacteria) and its function will lead to Global Ecological Crises ; 5) The function of humankind is reproduction a) Undirected panspermia (to blowup the Earth) b) Directed panspermia In order to determine which one of these functions is the correct one, we need to understand what biosphere is and what is the reason why the biosphere evolves.

  Today human race is faced with an important task: to develop an effective program of upbringing. One of the main shortcomings of today"s programs is that these programs are developed without taking into account biosphere function of humankind. It is not surprising since humankind has not realized that it has a biosphere function. However, even if human race does not recognize that it has a biosphere function; that does not mean it does not carry out (fulfil) its biosphere function.
  There are various opinions on biosphere functions of the mankind. A few of these opinions are the following:
  A) Mankind does not have biosphere function
  In other words, mankind is the following towards the biosphere:
  1) cancerous tumor
  2) parasite
  B) Mankind has the biosphere function and it is one of the following:
  1) The function of humankind is to extract and burn(use) oil , gas, coal ; to mine ores , use metals from these ores, and flash them into the ocean with wastewaters. (V.V.Malahov, member of RAN, professor in biology , department of Moscow State University);
  2) The function of humankind is to transform biosphere into noosphere (Vernadskiy V.I., renown scientist , founder of biogeochemistry);
  3) The function of humankind is to create with the help of genetic engineering new intellectual species;
  4) The function of our mankind is identical to the function of blue-green algae (Cyanobacteria) and its function will lead to Global Ecological Crises ;
  5) The function of humankind is reproduction
  a) Undirected panspermia (to blowup the Earth)
  b) Directed panspermia
  In order to determine which one of these functions is the correct one, we need to understand what biosphere is and what is the reason why the biosphere evolves.
  In this article the new hypothesis is proposed according to which the entire living matter of the Earth functions as a whole so called multispecies organism with the life expectancy around 10 billion years. In this organism, each individual of every species plays a role of cells, while species play functions of tissues and organs. According to this hypothesis humankind is part of the reproduction system of the biosphere, i.e. mankind"s function is reproduction.
   In particular, the biosphere function of mankind (or future more evolved homo type species) is to deliver seeds of Life (living matter, organic life) to the uninhabited planets of our Galaxy and even further beyond our Galaxy"s borders . Thus, evolution of living matter (organic life) of the Earth (biosphere) is purposeful and genetically programmed to reproduce in space.
   This hypothesis is taken look at (assessed) from multiple prospective: from the prospective of activity, needs, means of survival, determinism, and the probability theory. ???
   Contribution: Many scientist such as ((Вернадский В.И., Тейяр де Шарден, Левченко В.Ф.) proposed that biosphere is an organism. However, there are no hypothesis so far which specify that biosphere is an organism in which humankind is a part of the reproductive system of the biosphere. The other contribution of this article is that for the first time the living matter of the Earth is considered from the position of activity, needs, means of survival, part and as a whole.
  Furthermore, the author identified two new categories for classification of needs and means of survival. These two categories are the following: needs and means of survival are directed to save:
  1. biosphere on Earth;
  2. biosphere in the Universe.
  Moreover, for the first time biotic and abiotic scenarios of evolution are examined from the moment of the beginning of life on Earth till the death of Solar system.
  Organism criteria
   Two features are attributed to fundamental criteria of an organism: activity of cells of multicellular organism and ontogeny.
  Activity of cells is directed to save:
  a) its own life
  b) its own phenotype (division of cells)
  c) life of multicellular organism (specific activity: the production of bile, production of hormones which support homeostasis of an organism, etc.);
  d) species of multicellular organism (reproduction of multicellular organism)
  Above described activities of cells is inherent to any multicellular organism. As such activities are intrinsic to all the cell of any multicellular organism, then these criteria are the fundamental attribute of any organism.
  Ontogeny. Taking into the account that ontogeny of any organism is determined by its biological interaction (by genes), then this quality is also should be included to the fundamental attributes of an organism.
  From the position of activity, it was determined that the activity of living beings(?особи) of biosphere is analogous to the activity of cells of multicellular organism.
  If the activity of individuals (особи) of biosphere is analogous to the activity of multicellular cells and at the same time the activity of species is analogous to the activity of tissues and organs of multicellular organism, then according to this criterion the Earth"s biosphere is multicellular organism.
  From the needs and means of survival side it is determined that the means of survival of living matter of Earth in space exist in reality. This is the proof that the biosphere of the earth is capable of reproducing in the Universe. If the biosphere of the Earth is capable of reproducing in space then it naturally could be call an organism.
  From the position of being part of something or being the whole thing.
  If evolution (ontogeny) of part of the whole is determined by biological interaction, then evolution (phylogenesis) of the whole (biosphere) is determined by biological interaction.
  From the position of the probability theory and determinism, evolution of biosphere of the Earth is the process or phenomenon with the life expectancy about 10 billion years (from the beginning of life on Earth till the Death of Solar system). This process, with the probability close to 1 is determined by biological interaction (genes). Complete group of these events is determined by the number of members in this process, the condition ( physical, chemical, biological) of these members which participate in this process; physic-chemical interaction, time from the beginning of the process and distance between members .
  The complete group of this process (evolution of the living matter (life) on Earth)
  Abiotic scenario includes only one event: the death of living matter (life) on Earth.
  Biotic scenario includes two events:
  a) To deliver living matter to other planets from different galaxies (seed other galaxies with life) (почему failure to deliver не включено )
  b) The death of living matter of the Earth (cosmic catastrophe, nuclear war, etc.) before its reproduction starts in space
  If the evolution of living matter follows the abiotic scenario, then the activity of humans and post-human civilizations are not capable to prevent the complete destruction(?) of the Earth"s living matter .
  Will the living matter of the earth deliver on зародыши жизни to different planets of different galaxies on time before the death of our solar system on time? It depends not only on the quantity and quality of objects participating in this process but also on the quality of biological objects, i.e. humankind. However, the quality of mankind is determined by three factors: genetics, environment, and upbringing.
  That is why the future of the living matter of the earth will be largely determined by the activity of scientists in the areas such as genetics, upbringing, and in general by the discovery of biological and physico-chemical laws.
