Аннотация: Изначально произведение задумывалось как текст песни. В основу стихотворения положена голландская легенда о золотом тюльпане, внутри которого было скрыто счастье. Открыть его смогла искренняя улыбка ребёнка.
Something strange in my head
Doesn't let me forget,
This is only I can think about:
What would only I've done
If I had missed that time:
Be with Not-you or even without?
But the only I know
Like a real state law
That I can't violate or forget:
I must thank you for love
You've revealed to my life -
So the happiness bud I'll present.
For your childish charm,
For the thing you have done,
For the person I have become -
Just a little bright sun
For the special one -
Golden tulip of Rotterdam.
