   Faust in Love

"Seize on my heart, sweet fever of love

That lives and languishes on the dews of hope!"

Faust

   The craziness of pure love!
   The craziness of all the ages!
   From worlds below to worlds above,
   From "delicate" to "outrageous"!
  
   It cares peace, it cares war,
   It cares lots of dreams and notions.
   From "any-thing..." to "any-more...",
   From "loveless stone" to "love's like oceans"!
  
   How come that Faust is in love?
   He is too wise to seek emotions.
   However, his heart's like a dove,
   His love is childlike devotion!
  
   It seems so sudden and so strange
   That even devil is astonished.
   "No matter what's the wise man's age
   And that the bald spot is so polished!"
  
   To help the devil has been told,
   For Faust's "fever" is so cruel.
   But Gretchen's heart is made of gold,
   Her soul can't be sold for jewels.
