   CONCEPT AND VIEWS

All drawings are made at a level that allows to make a dynamic mock-up working as emulator.
The goal was to develop a workable scheme / concept of self-propelled guns, ultimate parameters, having a reasonable price level and when it working as part of an impact tactical group capable to suppressing, of any existing, modern self-propelled guns in a counter-battery working.

The self-propelled 155 mm howitzer-cannon is designed to provide work and cover for the impact tactical group during an attack and on the march.

Its task is to destroying enemy artillery and tanks detected by air reconnaissance vehicles of the impact tactical group, which are capable of counteracting the fulfillment of the tasks assigned to it and to cover it with shrapnel shots from air attacks at a slant range of up to 10 km as from aircraft and as from planning bombs.
The self-propelled 155 mm howitzer-cannon is a self-propelled gun that, through the use of a number of technical solutions, is lightened to approximately 45-47 tons, when fully loaded with ammunition and fuel, and can fire without the use of outriggers and coulters from short stops.

The howitzer-cannon has a barrel length of at least 57 calibers and fires in manner "faires out of battery" with a long controlled recoil.
Such a scheme for organizing a shot, combined with the use of a combined propellant charge, allows firing at distances from 2 km, from closed positions, or by direct shot
. When howitzer-cannon working at maximum range, using a projectile with a bottom generator, it can work at a distance of up to 50 km

. The shot, due to the use of a combined propelling composition, is carried out in a mode that is gentle on the barrel.
The barrel is forcibly cooled with additional purging of the bore with a water-oil emulsion and has a conical non-threaded part. The shot is carried out with preliminary partial vacuum-processed of the barrel by means of an injector nozzle.

Loading is fully automatic on two parallel conveyors from containers that can be quickly replaced by charging and delivery vehicles.
The practical rate of fire in combat conditions, in whis the crew can work effectively for a long time, is 10 rounds per minute.
Shooting with a series of projectiles is available, with simultaneous arrivals of the entire series at one aiming point. - self-propelled gun is carried out to fire in such manner by 4 shots prepared in advance on conveyors in 10 seconds. The time between of carry out of two series is 30 seconds
The howitzer's ammunition load is 40 completed shots with combined charges of variable power and with the possibility of prompt selection of the required type of projectile for each shot.
Together with the ammunition stored on two charge-delivery vehicles, this provides up to 280 shots during 3-4 hours of high-intensity assault operations of the impact tactical group.

   Armor is anti-fragmentation, aluminum, homogeneous.
The diesel electric power plant is based on two independent adiabatic diesel engines.
The caterpillar drive has a pin toothing manner, with four independent sprockets wich has own electronically controlled motors for each.

Estimated driving distance along the rocade at speeds up to 60 km / h is not less than 600 km.
Due to the use of an adiabatic engine, the thermal signature of the ACS is very low.

1 - tower; 2 - mechanism for roll-out of the barrel and recuperation of shot energy; 3 - distance of preliminary roll-out; 4 - the total distance of the roll-out of the trunk + rollback; 5 - defensive rifle caliber machine gun; 6 - defensive machine gun-mortar module; 7- cassette with shots and a supply of working fluids; 8- cassette with shells.

The self-propelled unit consists of: a universal chassis with seven rollers; towers of two autonomous semi-towers having a common running ring and an emergency transition channel between the towers; a gun module and charging conveyors installed between the towers.
Semi-turrets rotate on a common running ring in a working angle up to 60*

Each semi-tower carries a machine-gun-mortar module and containers with: shots; working fluids and projectiles.
On each semi-tower there is a rotating commander's cupola with means of detection and management.

ACS has two configurations - transport and combat.

In the transport configuration, the barrel is located horizontally, pulled back as far as possible and lowered as much as possible. On the conveyors are shots and shells ready for loading.
Transferring a gun module from one configuration to another will take, according to preliminary estimates, from 5 to 10 seconds.
That is means, the ACS can work from short stops. The time to the first shot will be mainly determined by the capabilities of the guidance systems and the onboard computer system.
