   The purpose of "hovering up mines of optical reconnaissance" (hereinafter referred to as an optical mine or mine) is to provide emergency reconnaissance of the battlefield and work as a reference point for at least 15-20 minutes.
  
   A mine is fired from a mortar of command vehicle
  
   A longer period of work does not be considered as the tactical group, during this time will either complete the task assigned to it and leave the battlefield, or be destroyed. For long-term monitoring, it is more suitable unmanned aerial vehicles capable of staying in the air up to several hours.
  
   The advantage of such optical mine is the unexpectedness of its appearance over the target, low cost and low visibility in the optical and radio ranges.
  
   "Optical mine" is a cheap, disposable device that does not have complex automation or systems to ensure its operation.
  
   The optical mine does not have a remote control.
   After switching to a falling section of the trajectory, it automatically rejects the protective cover with the turbine that creates the initial rotation and hovers or slowly lowers by means of two rotors which open in flight under the action of centrifugal forces.
  
   The rotors do not have a swash plate and are mounted on the simplest hinges and, to reduce visibility in the radio range, they are made of fiberglass or carbon fiber.
   The upper rotor is assembled on the axis of the pneumatic motor.
   The lower rotor is assembled on the body.
   The source of energy for the pneumatic motor is a compressed gas or hydrogen peroxide from cylinder or a gas generator.

   During the operation of the gas engine and the gearbox's axis, with the upper rotor fixed on it rotate in opposite direction relative to the mine body, with the lower rotor fixed on it.
   The device is powered by an electric generator located on the engine axle.
  
   In the center of the housing there is an annular corner reflector, which has the option of transmitting information by modulating the reflected signal and an LED marker that provides linkage of the sweep to the angle of site.
  
   Modulation of the reflected beam by the transmitted information can be carried out through an electrical change of the angle of polarization of the reflected signal.
   Mina does not have a video camera. Its role is performed by a sensitive point optical sensor (such as a head-on type photomultiplier tube) under a lens of swinging block on front of the mine, which the optical axis performs a radial-circular scanning.
  
   The circular movement of scanning ray is provided directly by the rotation of the mine body under the action of the transmitted moment of the gas engine, and the radial movement is provided by the deviation of the optical axis under the action of an electromechanical device.
  
   The system is resistant to external "flare" due to the fact that the image is not built on the matrix, but is obtained as a result of radial-circular scanning by the optical axis of the sensor, which has a deep AGC and a small input aperture (diaphragm) between the sensor and the lens,
