Addition to the part fifth -

Design and technological features of the hulls of floating settlements intended for the Caribbean Sea area which are made by the method of hot shotcrete tecnology.

The service life of a houseboat made by hot shotcrete technology from a mixture of thermoplastic powder and basalt fiber should be at least 5-8 years (the life and technological cycle of fish in a cage).

Such service life can be extended by filling thin-walled modules with plastic foam and the use of secondary hot shotcrete technology to repair damage received during operation.

In the future, it is planned production and assembly of series of settlements, directly at the place of deployment, using the "prototype settlement" as a production base.

The main ideology of such production is "floating settlements will have to reproduce themselves using local resources"

The settlements will consist of two parts -

Agricultural rafts -

As the life of its, for technological reasons, will not exceed five - eight years its parts easier to replace than to disinfection and repair.

Their basic element will be a thin-walled module filled with plastic foam if it is need;

Self-propelled houseboats -

Its and working structures of the village is designed for long-term operation (with damage repairing during operation), during at least 50 years.

The technology of hot shotcrete allows the fabrication of unlimited large hollow structures using a mixture of thermoplastic and basalt fiber.

As an example, a panel of this material with a thickness of 5-8 mm with a specific weight of 1.4-1.6 had a strength equal to a sheet of duralumin with a thickness of 3 mm.

Considering that each floating settlement will collect and process hundreds of tons of plastic per year, such constructions using local raw materials and solar energy will be very cheap.

The modified module that shown below will be planned to produce by such technology.

The producing medium-size items such as the working float of the self-propelled houseboat or raff (10,6m*8,5m) can be carried out by manually injector.

The upper deck is made as a structural element (in the above figure it is showed as transparent)

Parts filled with plastic foam are marked in green. Parts that has double wall thickness are marked in blue.

I estimate that four workers will produce (including finishing work) such a float in five days.

The cabin is made as a single structure that is produced jointly with the float and the entire self-propelled houseboats will have high structural strength and low weight (2.5 - 3 tons)

As an example, a houseboat carried out by hot shotcrete method (monolithic body of 10.7m*8.3m) will has -

Permissible working displacement of the float (with deck draft 250 - 400 mm up water level) is 49 000 kg .... own weight without equipment is <...> 3328 kg.

The weight of the houseboat with solar panels, but without equipment is <...> 3.6 - 4 tons

The total weight of the houseboat (including the weight of the main running equipment) is <...> 15 tons.

It is without taking into account weight of batteries, auxiliary equipment and supplies.

Flettner air rotors weight - 2*300kg - 600kg (excluding engine weight) ... Flettner air rotors pulling force at wind speed 6m/s is <...> 2*300 kg

Weight of Flettner telescopic water rotors - 2*600kg - is 1200kg (excluding engine and hoist) Traction force of Flettner water rotors at flow rate of 1km/h is <...> 2*280 kg - 560 kg

There are four electric screw thrusters - 4 * 8kw

Wind generator weight - 3 * 180kg - 540 kg with a total power of 9.5 - 15 kw (at a wind speed of 8 - 21 m / s)

Solar panels area (when it is extended apart) - 81m² - approximate power - 20 - 27kw

The total capacity of batteries (five traction batteries for balkancar loaders EB-687. ... 24x5PzS500) -- 5*500 Ah, 48v
