   INTRODUCTION

Why was there a need to study such a topic!?

Back in the 1990s, analyzing the results of: Operation "Desert Storm"; and the results of the Israeli attack on Lebanon, I had a strong conviction that the era of tank attacks and the power of heavy armored vehicles on the battlefield had passed.

These high complex and overly expensive vehicles proved to be defenseless against a well-trained soldier with: adequate portable anti-tank weapons; unmanned air support and which has access to satellite support.

I assuming today's tactical collapse on the battlefield and a forced return to World War I-style stalemate, after 2000 began to work hard on this topic.

Today's, practically positional war in Ukraine, which is going on in the of the "meat grinder" stile of the First World War, confirmed my conclusions.

   INFORMATION FOR REFLECTION

   .... NEW ASPECTS.

One of the most illustrative examples is the usage of battalion tactical groups and the reconnaissance and strike model of operations, based on the close interaction of unmanned aerial vehicles with fire weapons, which increases the speed of fire support for separate formations.

They are composed by: a company of soldiers; armored vehicles; mortars; drones and an artillery battery.
Additionally, to them can be attached: aerial vehicles; special forces groups and other units, allowing them to perform the assigned combat missions.
Tanks in this case do not play a leading role in the fulfillment of the task.

The digital architecture of these groups is designed thereby: that the control of sensors and weapons can be transferred between crew members, groups and interacting units. Each operator station can take tasks and roles from others while maintaining full own functionality.

All drawings in the article are simplified to the mock-ups level.

   STRIKE TACTICAL GROUP

   The strike tactical group includes:
two self-propelled guns; one transport-loading vehicle for self-propelled guns; three command vehicles for control and target designation for remotely controlled weapon platforms; nine spherical remote-controlled weapon platforms; three charging transport vehicles for transporting remotely controlled weapon platforms; a ground or flying vehicle with an air defense radar and up to a company of combat guards having the necessary for it vehicles; man-portable launchers and drones, including: hovering up mines of optical reconnaissance and unmanned remotely controlled helicopters which have static lift force and which has surveillance millimeter-wave radars and are capable of hovering above for a long time at a height on 3-4 km above the battlefield; two charging transport vehicles for transporting remotely controlled helicopters.
The main economic principle of kitting-up of such groups is that ALL equipment has a minimum cost and a modular design repairable by mutual replacement of modules directly in the field.
All tracked chassis are maximally unified and differ only by the number of the tracked rollers. The tracked chassis drive carries out by sets of diesel electric unified modules.

Originally, the concept of such modules was published by me on 06/24/2019 -
   "Koganitsky adiabatic engine" http://samlib.ru/k/koganickij_g_a/adiabaticengine.shtml

The driving range of such a group without refueling is 600 km at an average speed of 60 km/h.
The operational time of remotely controlled weapon platforms without reloading is permissible for three hours and it can to work in distance up to 4 km away from the command vehicle by support of: drones; unmanned remote controlled helicopters having static lift force or by usage of hovering up mines of optical reconnaissance.

COMMAND VEHICLE DIRECTING THE REMOTE CONTROLLED ARMED PLATFORMS

   0x01 graphic

Each command vehicle guides and provides target designation for three remotely controlled weapon platforms and has its own defensive armament:

20 - two missile launchers for universal fire-and-forget missiles, which are rechargeable from the inside and capable of operating both to ground and air armored targets; 18 - two twin anti-aircraft machine guns 15/13 mm with automatic aiming at a coded laser reflected light spot ; 19 - four turret's 82 mm mortars with a continuously variable power of propellant charges and six turret's 82 mm mortars with a continuously variable power of propellant charges, designed for setting up an optical and shrapnel curtain.

Initially, the concept of 15/13 mm machine guns was published by me on 26/01/2020 - "Koganitsky heavy machine gun - Hmgk" http://samlib.ru/k/koganickij_g_a/rack_unit.shtml

The main armor of command vehicles is designed against 30mm autocannons at a distance of 500m.
With additional hinged non-metallic armor on the frontal hemisphere of the turret and the frontal surfaces of the hull, they must withstand the fire of 50-55 autocannons from a distance of 500m.
The driver, instead of the hatch, uses a flip-up armored hood with viewing devices.

   0x01 graphic

Operators command of weapon platforms consist of three people inside vehicle and three special forces working as external operators, under the cover of remotely controlled weapon platforms

   SELF-PROPELLED GUN

Its main purpose is counter-battery counteraction at a distance up to 40 km; destruction of heavy self-propelled artillery and armored vehicles at a long range by guided shells and work with shrapnel guided shells at air targets at an inclined range of up to 10-15 km.

The self-propelled gun has a 155 mm howitzer-cannon as its main armament, which fires on a "barrel roll-out" with a long recoil stroke.
Loading is carried out into a swinging charging chamber, with the execution of firing by usage of a liquid variable propellant charge.
This method of firing allows to lengthen the active part of the barrel up to 75 calibers and refuse to use outriggers.
Loading is performed automatically from two interchangeable cylindrical containers. Rate of fire is up to 15 rounds per minute. The gun barrel is forcibly cooled.
The gun is located in a partially pivoting turret.
   Armoring is aluminum, homogeneous, anti-fragmentation.
The crew is five people: three weapons operators; a tactical group commander and a driver.

Initially, this concept was published by me on 30/08/2013 http://samlib.ru/k/koganickij_g_a/tankmodernization2-1.shtml

   3 - defensive rifle-caliber machine guns with automatic aiming at a coded laser reflected light spot;
   17 - 155 mm howitzer-gun;
18 - twin 15 / 12mm anti-aircraft machine guns with automatic aiming at a coded laser reflected light spot and a rotating 82mm multi-barrel grenade launcher module.

Armored vehicle transport of control and targeting for the remotely controlled weapon platforms has a transport part, unified with a self-propelled gun but shortened by two rollers.

A transport-loading vehicle for self-propelled guns and transport vehicles for long-distance transportation of remotely controlled weapon platforms and remote controlled helicopters differs from self-propelled guns only: in the absence of a turret with the main armament; the presence of clamps for containers and weapon platforms and by hydraulic crane installing.
Rifle-caliber machine guns on the cockpit have been replaced by single 15/12 mm anti-aircraft machine guns.
Stationary grenade launchers for smoke grenades are provided.

   SPHERICAL REMOTE CONTROLLED WEAPON PLATFORM

For the first time it was claimed by me into the DARPA competition in 10/2011 - The autonomous or remote-controlled military assault spherical robot
   http://samlib.ru/k/koganickij_g_a/assaultrobot.shtml

Then, in 03/2015, there was a conflict with DARPA and the US Patent Office due to the illegal use of this patented idea and the ILLEGAL issuance of a US patent by them to third parties.
The conflict has moved into the phase of the appearance of a US representative with threats. -
"Warning of violation of the right of "intellectual property" http://samlib.ru/k/koganickij_g_a/violation.shtml

For clarity of the drawing, the end caps and some of the internal components are removed.

A feature of such a remotely controlled weapon's platform is that it does not provide not only the presence of artificial intelligence of any level, but even don't has a medium-level computer, it is significantly reducing to the possibility of a hardware error, its doing of an unauthorized fire and the impact onto a remotely controlled weapon platform of network radio countermeasures.

Control is provided by separate limitedly interconnected modules: a modules speech processing and sensory commands that controls movement; and separate for each barrel, modules that provide weapon guidance for reflection from the selected target of the operator's encoded and stabilized in space laser pointer.

The laser pointer moves synchronously with the pupils of the operator and is controlled by automatic monitoring the vasomotor activity of: the eyes; operator's face and hand movements.
Identification of "friend or foe" and protection from "friendly fire" is provided by a subcutaneous chip.

Energy for movement and stabilization in space are provided by two flywheels making by carbon tape and two lithium battery packs.
Counter-rotating flywheels are accelerated to operating speed by two independent motor-generators and an additionally they are interconnected through a planetary gearbox.

Targeting of the weapon in the horizontal plane is carried out by turning the tire relative to the vertical axis of the gyro module.
There are two options for turning: turning on the spot, relying on the ring tread of tire - C and turning on the move, due to the inclination of the body and touching the ground with the tread of the support ring - D.

   0x01 graphic

In addition to the weapon targeting, the mode of "rotation in place" is used when one of the operators or the sensor for auto controlling the surrounding space issues the command "protection from a rocket-propelled grenade".
When the weapon platform rotates around a vertical axis at a speed of about 5 revolutions per second, a reactive cumulative grenade, during the time its fuse operation delay, is reflected tangentially from the rotating tire.

In the static position, the total armor resistance of the inner hull and hardened block tire provide protection against 22 mm armor-piercing of automatic cannon rounds.

Targeting of grenade launchers in the vertical plane is provided by changing the inclination of the axis of rotation of the weapon platform relative to the horizon.

4 - grenade launcher; 5 - fixed support ring; 7 - ring treads of tire; 8 - directres of firing grenade launchers; 16 - grenade launchers' targeting vertically.

Targeting of machine guns in the vertical plane is carried out by turning the machine gun on the running ring having a horizontal axis.

REMOTE CONTROLLED HELICOPTERS WITH SURVEILLANCE MILLIMETER-WAVE RADARS WHICH HAVE STATIC COMPONENT OF LIFT FORCE.

The purpose of remote controlled helicopters having addition static lift "(hereinafter referred to as helicopters) is to provide operational reconnaissance and observation of the battlefield and work as an artillery guidance system during at least 2 hours each (the set consists of two helicopters which are replacing each other)

For the first time, its concept and circuit design were published by me on 10/11/2011 as a description of the concept of a rescue helicopter - "helicopters in special aviation having the a static component of lift force"

HOVERING UP MINES OF OPTICAL RECONNAISSANCE

The purpose of "hovering up mines of optical reconnaissance" (hereinafter referred to as optical mines or mines) is to provide emergency reconnaissance of the battlefield and work as a reference point for the artillery targeting for at least 15-20 minutes.

For the first time, its concept and circuit design were published by me on 03/04/2013 hovering up mines of optical reconnaissance

DETAILED ELABORATION OF THE DESIGN FEATURES OF MACHINES FOR IMPACT TACTICAL GROUPS

This work will be offered into the free market in the order of the auction (the exception is Russia - as its leadership is too immoral and stupid).

Canada is also cannot be assumed as a stakeholder, because, based on my unpleasant experience, in this corrupt swamp, innovation is not only not needed, but also not desirable

Therefore, the clarifying paragraphs will be filled in and placed on my web page as separate articles from the prepared archive ONLY as specific questions and suggestions appear.
