MONGOLIA By Feodor Swarowski (a long poem, a literary manga anime written on 16th August of 2011) Feodor Nikolayevich Swarowski (born 6 April, 1971, Moscow) is a Russian poet. He emigrated from the USSR to Denmark when he was 19 years old. He lived in Copenhagen. After he had been admitted to citizenship of Denmark in 1997 he returned to Moscow to work as a TV reporter and journalist. He started writing Indy poems. Soon he had them printed. The Russian critics consider him to be just an interesting author of the distinctive, quasi-modernist romantic ballads full of uninvented feelings. Besides Dostoyevsky and Homer, he is under strong influence of Jack London, David J. Salinger (`The Catcher in the Rye` and short stories), American sci-fi movies, modern culture of Far East (Mongolia, China, Japan, Korea). Besides, he is fond of robots!

МОНГОЛИЯ

1.
японские боевые роботы
атакуют Пекин

все китайцы убиты
но из-за сбоя в программе
детей не трогают
они
остаются среди руин

2.
трава поднимается сквозь асфальт
на площади Тяньаньмэнь
до горизонта - цветы
по опустевшим улицам бродят электрические слоны

их всадники - роботы
все больны

энергии больше нет
для подзарядки нужна кислота
но нет кислоты
идет
пятый год
от начала войны

3.
дочь японского бизнесмена Аико
живет на верху холма
в обломках старого дома
за окнами - город
под окном - разрушенная тюрьма

она никого не ждет
ей 12 лет и она осталась одна

с ней только ее друзья -
рваный медведь и набитая рисом собака
обломки какого-то пластмассового зверья

в кладовой заканчиваются концентраты
там лишь десять ящиков
испорченного вина

4.
в поисках крысы на ужин
она заходит однажды в тюремный подвал
темно и страшно
вдруг, кажется, кто-то ее позвал

- кто здесь?
- девочка, девочка
скорее иди сюда
мне так одиноко
мне плохо
перед глазами - разрушенные города

5.
за бойлерной, в старом доме
спрятался репликант
робот похожий на человека
умирает
у него инфаркт

сердечная мышца из особого полимера
ослабла
внутри захлебывается мотор

- меня зовут Рюичи СИ 9
мне нужно достать кислоты
нужно солнце
дай мне кислоты, кислоты!
и выведи на вольный простор!

6.
Аико боится
это робот
который стрелял в людей

но он только лежит и смотрит
и не выглядит как какой-то враг
убийца
или злодей

в конце концов
- думает Аико -
я все равно одна

идет в кладовую
и приносит репликанту стакан вина

кислое вино укрепляет робота
он может встать

выйти на улицу
и нормально дышать

7.
но чтобы выжить нужно
закачать в пустоту
резервуаров
соляную, серную кислоту

- где-то на севере есть, говорят, государство - Монголия
там у людей - машины и электрический свет

там, может быть, для роботов есть кислота
а для детей - производство печенья или конфет

помнишь ли ты, что такое конфеты, Аико?

- конечно, нет

8.
зачем оставаться всю жизнь в разрушенном доме?
- рассуждает Аико -
время уходит
а жизни нет
лучше высушить несколько крыс
взять вина
игрушки
и отправиться
на поиски кислоты, конфет

пусть
робот
загладит вину
и будет человеку другом в пути
а если устану
он, кстати, сможет меня нести

9.
как хорошо - думает Аико - что была война
вся страна заросла
вся жизнь - это лес и деревни
и города
в них - тишина
вода
и порванные провода

только ветер
только
трава и ветер
в степи

ночью Рюичи разводит костер
говорит:
я буду дежурить
а ты поспи

10.
десять месяцев шли на запад
два месяца куда-то налево
потом еще на восток

Рюичи совсем устал
вино закончилось
и он окончательно изнемог

сбились с пути

Монголию не смогли найти

Аико устала
но Рюичи не может больше нести

ее
на руках

11.
однажды
проснувшись утром
Аико
успела лишь
крикнуть: ах

дикие всадники заметили их
в короткой
сухой траве
догнали, поймали
ударили робота в пах
(у него потемнело в глазах)
отправили в город
и заперли их в тюрьме

12.
это и были монголы
и у этих монголов нет
ни заводов
ни фабрик
ни кислоты
ни конфет
ни электрических станций
ходят практически голые
и каждый второй из них - людоед

13.
Аико и Рюичи
десять дней сидят
под землей
ожидают, что их съедят

- Рюичи, что с нами будет?

наверное, эти люди
не те монголы
которых мы ищем

знаешь, я не боюсь
но внутри - пустота

хочется взять, улететь отсюда
увидеть другие совсем места

репликант отвечает
- Аико, все это неспроста

зачем-то же
я упал
в подвал
остался без кислоты

и мне повстречалась ты

может, истинная Монголия
это не здесь
Монголия - ветер и те поля
где мы шли
и пустые дома
в зарослях
(их полы в пыли)
и сухие цветы
и их семена

это, когда идешь
и видишь холмы вдали
на холмах высокие крыши
и флаги
и в каждом дворе - цветут персики, вишни

май
начинается лето

проходя через луг
молодая японка и ее электронный друг
смотрят, как из-под ног
разбегаются зайцы
а может быть, лисы
не зайцы

знаешь, мне нравится
говорить об этом

может быть, суть в том, что робот был одинок
и не думал что он один
и ты тоже была одна
а потом принесла
вина

14.
а монголы точат уже ножи
заключенным недолго осталось жить

15.
но
c нами ничего не случится -
говорит Рюичи -
да, повсюду тьма
где, каждый может быть наказанным без вины
может просто пропасть
хоть и нет
уже никакой войны

но я слышал радиоволны
и дал ответный сигнал
просто раньше времени тебе ничего не сказал

сюда уже мчится

специальный тибетский суперотряд

их командир отправляет сводку, что очень рад
нам
помочь

вот только наступит ночь
они придут
и применят лазер
стена превратится в дым
и наступит день

ты проснешься

я окажусь молодым
человеком

ты будешь взрослой

поженимся

пойду работать
по воскресеньям я
как положено
на реке
с удочкой и блестящим ведром в руке

буду
возвращаться домой с уловом

16.
а пока
если скучно
можно рассматривать облака
или что-нибудь спеть
или просто сидеть
и ждать
когда все начнется
ждать
какого-то знака

- знака?

- ну, скажем, придет гроза

ты закроешь глаза
и
с первым громом
все неживое окажется вдруг живым

(пусть то, что ты любишь,
встретит тебя за гробом
- про себя произносит робот)

я
сломанный динозавр
медведь
и
рисовая
собака

MONGOLIA

1.
japanese combat robots
have attacked Beijing.

all the Chinese are dead.
but due to a system failure
they spare no efforts
to ignore a kid.

2.
the grass is pushing up asphalt
on deserted Tian`anmen square.
flowers are as far as the eye can see.
electric elephants are roaming about streets.

their riders, the robots,
are all ill.

no more energy.
they need acid to be charged.
no more acid! why?
it has passed
the fifth year
since the start of the genocide.

3.
japanese businessman`s daughter Aiko
lives on the top of a hill
in the ruins of an old house.
outside is a view of the city.
a prison is at the foot of the hill.

she waits for none.
she"s 12, she"s alone every inch.

her only companions are
her torn teddy-bear, dog stuffed with rice.
other plastic fauna without paws and eyes.

food concentrates to expire soon.
there"s only a dozen of boxes
of the spoiled wine.

4.
in search of a rat for dinner
once she entered the prison`s vault.
darkness and fear!
suddenly she heard someone called

`who`s there?`
`girl, girl!
come here, please, try.
I am so alone
I am ill, so on
the demolished cities are still in my eyes`.

5.
a boiler in the old house
concealed a replicant.
a robot who`s a human`s replica
was dying of
a heart attack.

his cardiac muscle made of special fibre
grew weak.
the servoengine gonna stop inside of him.

my name is Ryuichi CI 9
I need acid badly
and solar energy.
gimme acid! some acid!
and free me - lemme outside!

6.
Aiko was startled.
that robot
destroyed people.

but he just lay and watched her,
he looked like no enemy, after all.
not like a killer
or like a rogue.

never mind!
thought Aiko.
I am alone, life is mine.

she returned to the cellar
and brought back a glass of wine.

acid in wine helped the robot.
he could stand up,

come out to the streets
and breathe all right.

7.
`but to survive all the way
I need to pump
sulfuric and hydrochloric acid in my empty
vessels. badly!

they say, there`s a state of Mongolia in the North
people use there machines and electric light

there might be acid for robots,
confectionery for children and for the adult.`

`do you remember what are sweets, Aiko?`

`no, I don`t remember that staff.`

8.
`why to stay all life in the destroyed house?`
decided Aiko.
`time flies.
life promises no changes.
better to dry out several rats,
take wine,
toys
and go
in search of acid and sweets.

may
the robot
atone for his sins
as a fellow traveller of a human being.
if I am tired
then, by the way, he`ll have to carry me!`

9.
Aiko thought that `war was fine` as
the whole country was green.
only woods and villages
and cities.
no people - just silence,
water
and torn wires.

only wind,
only
the grass and wind
in the steppe

at nights Ryichi lit the campfires
and said
`while I`m on duty,
you go to bed.`

10.
they walked ten months to the west,
two months somewhere to the left,
then to the east.

Ryuichi grew faint under a weight.
wine ran out.
he was totally creased.

they lost their way,

Mongolia was faraway.

Aiko got tired
but no longer Ryuichi could carry again

her
in his arms as a babe.

11.
once
after waking up in the morning
Aiko
was about
to cry out `Ah!`

wild horsemen noticed them
in the short,
dry grass,
soon caught them up to grasp.
they poped the robot twice
(all went dark before his eyes)
then took them to the city
to lock them behind bars.

12.
this was `Mongolians`
but not Mongolians indeed
no plants
no factories
no acid
no sweets
no power stations
they walked almost bare
every second one professed cannibalism!

13.
Aiko and Ryuichi
spent ten days, kidnapped,
underground
in expectation of being eaten up.

`Ryuichi, what will be with us? we`re lost!

wrong Mongols,
not the people we searched for

you know, I`m not afraid,
but I feel emptiness inside

I wish we could fly away
to find out something quite different. ah?

The replicant answered,
`Aiko, there is more to it than meets the eye!

and banners in every yard.
cherries and peaches on the slopes.

walking across the land
the Japanese girl and her electronic friend
see the hares
or maybe foxes
not hares
scattering from under their feet.

I`ll have a sparkling bucket in my hand.

I`ll always return home
with my catch.

16.
`and now

rumbles

darán vida a todo lo que es querido para ti

susurró a sí mismo el robot)
