Tell the glorious legends
Words, that we had procured
Songs that we kept as the marvels

In the hot forge Ilmarinen
In the sharp steel Yovnahainen
Over fields and fen and forest
Kalewala wonder-heather
Snowstorm to me was singing
Rain have whispered me the legends
The dream-wind told me the others
And the seawaves moved by rolling
Birds have brought to me the fine words
And the trees met all together...
