A parliamentary sketch on the Kosti-NF. A story.
Mr. Wintertund came to the working place in a thoughtful mood.
The Kosti-NF radio station - as it turned out - did not know that in thick journalism, a telephone silence regime has been declared, and that the process of allocating budget funds to thick magazines was going on!
This, of course, is a flaw of those outstanding people who know what will happen in a week!
Mr. Wintertund took action the day before yesterday. Of the three most attractive interns - girls - journalism students - he formed a group for reporting and sent them to parliamentary corridors to prepare a sketch on parliamentary work.
Mr. Wintertund gave detailed instructions to the interns about the importance of the assignment they had received and called one of his acquaintances, a member of the Committee on Culture.
This member remained silent when Mr. Wintertund asked about the allocation of budgetary funds to thick magazines. But promised to assist the reporters' group.
The interns worked in the parliament all yesterday. In the evening and at night they wrote "Sketch".
Now they must knock on the door and present to Mr. Wintertund the result of their work.
Indeed, the door to the office opened slightly and the interns entered. One of them had a sheet of paper in her hand.
Mr. Wintertund cordially invited the future journalists to sit down and involuntarily recalled the own days of youth and trips to local tundra lakes on the hottest days.
- So everything went well?
- Yes Yes!
The sheet of paper passed into the hands of Mr. Wintertund.
He began to read.
"Parliamentary sketch.
Parliament is the center of the country's intellectual life and the center of democracy. The excitement grips everyone who approaches the pass office.
But everything turned out to be not so difficult.
We telephoned an amiable member of the Committee on Culture and, quickly obtaining passes, went up to the conference hall.
The morning ventilation of the hall was proceeding. It seems to have smelled of spring.
Deputies soon gathered. No comments were made about the stuffiness in the hall.
The first group of questions was devoted to toughening of liability for violation of the Road Traffic Rules. Naturally, the fines were increased.
Then came the questions about the protection of children. The legislation on the protection of children has been substantially amended. Some parents do not protect their children well from ferrets.
In the afternoon, the deputies adopted a resolution in support of the veteran who had been insulted by a prominent figure of blogosphere. The task was written in the protocol of a meeting to prepare a supplement the legislation on the protection of veterans.
In the evening, after official events, a tea party took place in honor of the birthdays of the first president of the USSR and of the prime minister. All drank tea in a good mood, wished each other the absence of emergencies in connection with the spring flooding of rivers and the continuation of joint work in the next parliament. The theme of the upcoming holiday of 8 March was, also, discussed.
In parting, the tea-drinking participants wished us professional success and presented us with badges with party symbols.
We went outside and realized that spring was coming.
A life will change for the better soon! "
Mr. Wintertund looked at the "Parliamentary Sketch" and pondered how to cheer up the budding authors of parliamentary journalism.
- Of course, it"s not Hemingway and not "For Whom the Bell Tolls." But, as Lavrenev said about Solzhenitsyn, "by giving himself entirely to the creativity, the author will be able to achieve success."
Mr. Wintertund looked at the interns:
- Well, in general?
- We were invited to come, again!
- Okay! Continue your internship. Your parliamentary sketch conditionally accepted.
The students left the office.
Mr. Wintertund looked doubtfully at the sheet of paper.
Finally, he scanned the sheet with the presented work and sent this file by e-mail to the first deputy director of the radio station with a proposal: "I ask you to consider the expediency of posting this Parliamentary Sketch on the radio station's website and of the reading this sketch on the air along with stories from thick magazines." ...
It seems, that is all!
The morning begins calmly.
No annoying calls!
A parliamentary journalism is not an easy thing to do. But this item is also available to qualified people from Kosti-NF. Step by step ... And gradually Kosti-NF will have the latest, the most fresh parliamentary information.
Mr. Wintertund turned on the electric kettle.
