All of his basic assessments of the situation were wrong. All his main predictions were wrong and harmful. All his main recommendations were reminiscent the pest activity (in the terminology and concepts of the 30s of the 20th century).
Nevertheless, he was showered with titles (doctor of sciences, professor), state awards, posts.
The claqueurs said "he explained everything." After such a statement, in addition, he was awarded a departmental medal (which was awarded to other people for the real services, for the real heroism).
Meanwhile, in the Far East and Siberia more and more the problem of floods manifested itself.
Naturally, there was no possibility to talk about any positive role of science in overcoming, preventing floods with such experts on water problems.
Effective managers set out to destroy the middle class, the intelligentsia (including the scientific one), to oust the intelligentsia, scientific feudal lords and scientific serfs through the implanting, through the involving of scientific prankers.
From the trial, which is currently being held against the most famous Russial historian, we see that another, new sub-culture has begun to form - a subculture of persecution of real scientists by scientific prankers.
For all the peculiarities of his character and personality, the most famous Russial historian, nevertheless, was distinguished by real knowledge, abilities, and a real desire for scientific research.
As it is now revealed during the trial, he was embroiled in a (controlled?) conflict. He was immersed in litigation, minor skirmishes, conflicting correspondence on the Internet, the door of his apartment was smeared with something ...
At about the moment of the most tragic incident in his life, he (a knowledgeable person with a real history of success), it turns out, was looking on the Internet for information about his conflict with a scientific prank (owner of a dubious and scandalous pseudo-scientific reputation) ...
With such a position of the scientific intelligentsia, on the one hand, and scientific prankers, on the other hand, it was possible to theoretically talk about the most unfavorable prospects in the field of practical activity.
But if the most famous Russial historian was only in process of ousting by prankers, then the scientific pranker in the field of water problems felt great. He wandered on television, radio, and Internet channels, showing his imaginary (sabotage) "knowledge" and impressed the simpletons with his titles and awards.
With this state of affairs, it was theoretically possible to predict the most unfavorable development of water problems ...
Of course, no one could predict this unfavorable development with accuracy ... When will it be? May 19, 2026? (There was a hopes and a plans of effective managers for such uncertainty? They will oust the intelligentsia with prankers, will destroy the layer of people of knowledge, but when will the results come yet? ... Maybe not soon?). These adverse, catastrophic effects were close.
Oddly enough, we became contemporaries, we witnessed how water problems (floods) approached Moscow itself. Up to our dear capital. Up to our golden Moscow.
And thus, theory united with practice.
