Forks, a housekeeper and a festive toast. A story for children about Seryozha.
For the holidays, all family members had to gather at a festive table in the living room.
Seryozha, as the future International Sports Inspector (for Africa) and the future Special Ambassador for Economic Cooperation with the countries of the global majority, acted in accordance with the rules of skillful management.
Twenty minutes before the start of the festive dinner, he entered the living room and examined the place of the future family event.
There was a pile of shards on the floor. They were broken wine glasses.
It's unpleasant!
He, Seryozha, cannot hire a worthless housekeeper!
Seryozha dialed the phone number of the boy who lives in the same entrance as Seryozha:
- Get dressed quickly and come here to me.
Two minutes later, the boy appeared next the door of Seryozha's apartment.
Seryozha handed him several large bills:
- Go to the supermarket quickly, it works around the clock on holidays. Buy a set of beautiful wine glasses there.
- I don't know anything about wine glasses. I can buy the wrong things!
- Here's a more money for you, buy all the kits that are on sale. Keep the change for yourself! I'll be waiting for you here with wine glasses in half an hour!
The boy immediately ran to the supermarket.
Seryozha took a broom and carefully swept away the shards - to under the furniture. After the family dinner, the housekeeper will clean them off!
The family dinner started almost on time and in a good mood. Although, while everyone was getting ready and sitting down, another ten to fifteen minutes passed.
Everyone was joking, smiling, and telling a pleasant holiday news.
Seryozha explained what a good housekeeper he had hired.
She washed twenty forks today. She wiped thirty square meters of furniture surface with wet wipes. She had used up three pairs of rubber gloves in three days!
The family members nodded their heads benevolently. Our Seryozha can not hire a bad housekeeper!
The time for toasts was approaching. Wine glasses were needed.
At that moment, the doorbell rang. The boy brought several sets of wine glasses.
Seryozha solemnly brought sets of glasses packed in beautiful cardboard boxes into the living room!
- This is my holiday purchase for family!
Seryozha looked at the boxes and added:
- Excellent European crystal!
The family members got up to inspect better the boxes of wine glasses.
They started applauding.
- Do you mind if I put the glasses on the table - straight from the boxes? Anyone who wants can wipe theese wine glasses with napkins.
The family members smiled benevolently and nodded their heads in approval.
Soon the toasts began. Seryozha poured himself some grape juice.
The right to make the first toast was given to Seryozha.
"May your troubles be less, and your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness will enter your door!" (The toast was previously found on the Internet).
"Well said!" the family members approved.
The festive dinner continued in a great mood.
