One Moscow day of Peter Ivanov (January 31, 2021). A story.

One Moscow day of Peter Ivanov (January 31, 2021). A story.

Peter Ivanov was born in Crimea.

According to family legend, one of Peter's ancestors fought in the Crimean War, personally saw Admiral Nakhimov and Poruchik Tolstoy, had orders (awards).

The great-great-grandfather, it seems, evacuated with Wrangel, but the family tryed to speake about it a minimum.

Great-grandfather received a medal "For the Defence of Sevastopol".

The father fought in Afghanistan and voted in a referendum.

Peter himself was closer to creativity.

In his early youth, he became a popular youth singer. But this creative activity ended in unpleasant events. Peter did not like to remember this.

Then Peter switched to filming. He was shooting films with improvised means and was posting them on YouTube.

Some films were dedicated to the nature of Crimea.

Like a media environment, in whole, incited Peter to shoot and place such films, such a way this media environment was just as collectively silent in response to the films produced and posted. However, Peter noticed that some of his plots and creative elements were used in films by other authors or in some excursion programs.

Once Peter made a film from the military repertoire - a black comedy. The film was called "A Holiday in Sevastopol". Guys from wealthy families (their parents were responsible workers with a high positions) arranged a holiday on February 23, 1942: they threw grenades - competing in a distance [in a throw length ], fired from a 3-line rifle - competing in an accuracy, made a bayonet attack - competing in speed. The Holiday ended with eating ice cream and pineapples, which were available only to exclusive employees.

The comedy in the situation arose when a boy came to visit the participants of the holiday. Parents of that boy did not belong to the circle of the elect and did not have access to ice cream and pineapples.

The film has garnered nearly three million views. Peter earned a some money from the film.

However, benevolent people explained to Peter that the services of lawyers cost four times the amount he earned on the film, and showed him a document that was sent to Peter by a serious organization, but was lost by the mail system.

After some reflection, Peter decided not to wait for a similar document to be sent again and lost interest in filming.

He decided to supplement his knowledge in the library.

Once, in a break between reading Tolstoy and Dostoevsky, Peter saw the story of a known modern Russial writer, colonel, employee of the media holding named after Nikolai Ostrovsky. The story was about a modern young man from the Crimea.

The young man (the hero of the story written by the colonel) had a patriotic pedigree, he was fond of the topic of the "Russian Crimea", he often listened to the patriotic radio station named after Nikolai Ostrovsky ... The young man once decided to go to Moscow - to see sacred (for every Russian) places. After visiting the appropriate places, the young man sat with a laptop in a cafe somewhere near Gostiny Dvor, started to knock onto the keys.

And as a result, the young resident of Crimea received an invitation from the colonel to work at the patriotic radio station named after Nikolai Ostrovsky.

This story made a strong impression on Peter.

He sold some of the things bought by his grandfather or father, bought the cheapest ticket to Moscow and headed to the capital.

After arriving in the capital on January 31, 2021, Peter went straight to Red Square.

However, getting to the square was not so easy task.

Peter tried to use public transport, but, in the end, he every time was finding himself far from Red Square.

Then he took out a compass and headed towards the Red Square on foot.

He went about ten minutes and looked at the compass again.

A passerby who happened to be nearby looked with interest at Peter and at the compass.

Peter decided to take advantage of the opportunity and asked passerby to explain how to get to Red Square.

A casual passerby, in responce, became interested in Peter.

Peter explained that he had come from Crimea, that he had read the patriotic story of a colonel (an employee of the media holding named after Nikolai Ostrovsky), that he would like to visit holy places, then to sit in a cafe near Gostiny Dvor, to write something in his smartphone, then to contact the colonel and to start working at the patriotic radio station.

A passerby explained that Peter had chosen a bad day for all these actions. Peter may talk to the media staff about the possibilities of working in a media holding. Here these employees are.

Indeed, in the distance stood a group of people wearing reflective vests and with badges. The words "press" were visible.

After thanking a passerby, Peter went to a group of press representatives.

The group of media representatives included a journalist from the patriotic media holding.

A representative of the media holding immediately interviewed Peter. The central theme of the interview was the admiration of the Crimean residents with the patriotic radio station named after Nikolai Ostrovsky and the colonel's literary creativity.

Hearing about Peter's intention to visit holy places and then to start working as a journalist, the holding employee repeated the idea of the passerby - today is not a very convenient day for visiting the center of the capital and of the holy places.

He personally does not recommend to Peter to walk to the center of the capital.

The journalist reacted extremely well to Peter's intention to start work in the holding.

First, the journalist dialed the colonel's phone number, but the colonel did not answer. Then he called the Colonel's secretary, explained that next to him was now the lover of Colonel's literary creativity. This person intends to become an employee of the media holding: of the radio station or of the newspaper. The journalist handed the own phone over to Peter.

Peter briefly told his story and heard a friendly response from the secretary that secretary included Peter in the list of applicants for a job in the holding (according to a special quota of colonel) under number 5555. Peter have to wait for a movement. The phone inquiries are possible - the telephone number was named.

The secretary does not recommend visiting the center of the capital today.

  The conversation ended.

The journalist returned back own phone and recommended Peter to head back to Crimea. This is the most economical option, which can save Peter from many additional unnecessary costs. Moreover, now a good transport links are organized, and there are opportunities for purchasing economy class tickets.

Peter thanked the kind journalist and thought for a few minutes.

Three people, without agreement with each other, advised him not to visit the center of the capital today. It would be wise to heed this advice.

With the exception of the cost of the cheapest ticket from Crimea to Moscow, the cost of food, travel by public transport in Moscow and some little things, all the money was, so far, saved. It is not yet possible to hope for a salary from the media holding.

Somehow awkward, even funny, it turned out ... But, on the other hand, it was good luck to meet with a passerby and with a journalist, make acquaintance with the secretary (although in absentia), get a number in the list of applicants (with the ability to call to get information about the movement in the queue).

In general, apart from the difficulties with visiting holy places, the capital showed itself to Peter from the best side.

Having bought the cheapest ticket to Crimea, Peter headed back to the peninsula.

In response to some regrets, Peter was reminding himself that Nikola Tesla, before becoming a recognized genius, had read in the library about two hundred volumes written by Voltaire ...

In general, the day in the capital went well ...

A real prospects are ahead. Interview with Peter, as an amateur of the patriotic radio station named after Ostrovsky and as a fan of the colonel's literary creativity, will soon appear on the air and on the pages of the newspaper, and Peter himself - after a while - through the colonel's quota - will be hired by the holding. He will visiting the center of the capital with a journalist's certificate, in a reflective vest and a badge with the inscription ' Press".

Having worked as a journalist, Peter will write a book based on the experience gained, will place the own work on a special Internet platform for selling books and will become a sought-after, popular and wealthy author!

The sea will be visible soon! The Russian writer, Alexander Grin, seemed, is welcoming Peter. Scarlet sails are flying over the sea!

Peter returns to Crimea in a great mood! It was a good day in the capital!
