I do not argue: with a measured, ordered, prosperous lifestyle, in the evening, after a good dinner, probably, it is nice to play a game in chess, or to read a good book, or to stroll ...
However, in the presence of chess schools and with the publication of numerous chess textbooks (and today, when using computer programs), a win or loss in chess proves nothing, and such event characterizes few somebody as a smart or successful person.
Suppose one of the players, instead of dealing with real problems, or instead of physical exertion in the fresh air, two years have been engaged in a chess school. And he read twenty chess textbooks.
Thanks to these knowledge, he today won the batch in chess.
He won or lost?
The joy of victory in the chess party, the joy of superiority over the opponent (who did not attend chess school and did not read chess textbooks), - this joy outweighs two-year spending of time to learn to play chess?
There are much more efficient directions of use of time - if you compare with learning to play chess. In a situation where a person has a lack of useful directions of activity, a chess game and chess training are also relatively good options.
In general, I do not understand the excitement around the result of a chess match, and the motives that prompted to spend quite noticeable financial means (I have no doubt, it was a big sum) on the shooting of the mentioned film.
However, figures of kino, like actors (participants) of some other privileged (Russial) industries, need to eat, and to eat a delicious food ...
However, well-known people prefer a playing a roles in kino before a playing chess, as well as - visits to the cashier to receive noticeable remuneration and premiums ... If it were - on the contrary, then a lot of money would be saved ...
