In the book, Sanya discovered the story of one of the friends of Nikolai Gogol's youth, how the beginning Gogol showed his talent as a storyteller. Once the friends went to the river directly, through other people's gardens. The local young mom nearly beat them with the oven pot holder. But Gogol told the young mom that her son, a little baby, would be the city boss. She really liked this story, and she expressed great respect to young Gogol.
"I must follow the path of Gogol! I will become a respected person!"
Sanya was delighted with this idea and quickly absorbed it.

Sanya decided to visiting maternity hospitals for humanitarian purposes.

Sanya came to maternity hospitals to young mothers and told them various interesting stories.
Three stories were the most successful.
- This boy, when he will grow up, will ride a dog sled in Chukotka, then he will become a colonel of the General Staff of Belarus, and then he will be appointed Minister of Sports! (Mom almost screamed with delight).
- When this boy will grow up, he will graduate from the Faculty of Journalism of the Belarusian State University, after which he will go to a rural area, where he will work in a self-supporting [self-sustaining] editorial office. The wages will be small, but the respect of others will be great. (Mommy did not scream with delight, but she was pleased. Who is against higher education and great respect?).
- This baby-girl, when she will grow up, will be a doctor. She will study for ten years, then she will do an internship for another ten years, then she will go abroad for some time. Abroad, the doctors there will admire her qualifications, and she will be fascinated their income and a good living and working conditions. Then she will return to Belarus and, despite the low salary, will be fulfilling the Hippocratic oath. (Mom liked both higher education and a trip abroad ... And the word "doctor" is a respectable one ...).
Sanya also had other plots, stories.
Sanya gradually became widely known. He bought a tie, a suit.
The Mogilev Philharmonic issued him a certificate of a pop storyteller.
The Philharmonic paid little, according to the approved rates. But after visiting the maternity hospitals, Sanya had food and some money left.
Sanya realized that he had become a respectable person! He has crusts, a suit, a tie, a steady income. There was even an idea to form teams of pop storytellers - so that these people would travel around maternity hospitals and tell beautiful stories. (Sanya heard about such a scheme - it was used by the "Laskoviy May" pop group).
After failures with uncompromising brides, Sanya gained self-confidence.
What it means not to lose the presence of mind, of energy and of courage. Even if the brides refuse you, then read Gogol! You will be a respected person, you will achieve success - like Sanya!
