The cruel reality of Kyrgyzstan. One strategic problem and four tactical ones. Political essay.
In miniature "[MCCСCLXXII.] Turgenev girls and the applicants (for the role of politicians). A note on chapters 21 - 25 of the Nicholas Bogoslovskiy's book "Turgenev."" ( May 30, 2020) we wrote:
"The transition to republican or semi-republican orders in a huge peasant country was associated with forced, and not very comfortable, complex socio-economic transformations.
You can do without complex, painful transformations. Mexico, for example, lived without industrialization and collectivization (on the model of the USSR). There is an interesting film about Mexico: "Revolution, I love you!" - the general atmosphere of this film in some viewers will cause a feeling of hopelessness and of complete lack of a perspectives ..."
Many residents of Kyrgyzstan are well aware of the history of the USSR.
In the 20s - 30s - 40s - 50s of the 20th century, a new powerful industry, new large-scale agriculture, a new culture, a new sphere of education were built in the USSR.
For all this, the Soviet people, mainly the population of the RSFSR, had to pay with a mass of lives, a hungry, meager existence, non-paid or low-paid labor.
As a result, the population of the European part of the RSFSR, and a number of other regions of the USSR, in the 60s, 70s, 80s of the 20th century lived at the lowest European (but still European) level.
Now we are seeing how China is developing.
In miniature "[MCXXX.] Chávez and Maduro. Morales-1 and Morales-2. Political hypothesis" (November 16, 2019) we wrote:
"What, for example, is China paying for its attempt to become a world leader?
Twenty-four hours (a slight exaggeration) working day?
Lack of world-class social security systems?
Huge efforts to raise the level of education of huge masses of the population?
Environmental pollution problems? ...
Trying to give up the dollar? ...
We do not claim to fully describe the price of China for trying to become a world leader ...
It is clear that moving into the future is not an easy task. "
What a price are the Kyrgyz people willing to pay for a breakthrough into a good life? A continuous long-term low-paid work? Hardships? Lives?
This is a strategic issue.
I read about four tactical problems in the article "Felix Kulov: Some kind of mechanism has been launched, which someone is trying to lead" (October 16, 2020). (https://rus.azattyk.org/a/30894523.html)
According to Felix Kulov, there are at least four pressing problems:
1. The international reaction to the events in Kyrgyzstan, the formation of the international reputation of the Kyrgyz state,
2. Investments (apparently in the mining industry?),
3. A labor migration,
4. A coronavirus pandemic.
According to Felix Kulov, "There has never been a more unfavorable background [situation] in almost the entire history of Kyrgyzstan."
What are the prospects?
"If he [Sadyr Japarov] wants to rectify the state of affairs in the country by force, then let Allah help him in this matter. "- writes Felix Kulov ...
In miniature "[MCCСCLXXII.] Turgenev girls and the applicants (for the role of politicians). A note on chapters 21 - 25 of the Nicholas Bogoslovskiy's book "Turgenev."" ( May 30, 2020) we wrote:
"But, if great transformations were necessary for the vast peasant Russia, then who could carry out these transformations? Of course, Turgenev (1818 - 1883) could not know about Felix Dzerzhinsky (1877 - 1926) and Gleb Krzhizhanovsky (1872 - 1959). (Only the locomotive of Vladimir Lenin, enveloped in flames, was able to pull these East-Republicans out of political non-existence). "
There are no people of the level of Dzerzhinsky and Krzhizhanovsky either in modern Russia or in modern Belarus. Dzerzhinsky and Krzhizhanovsky were heirs to an intellectual tradition that began (tentatively) in 1364. They came out of a society where democracy, freedom, initiative of all kinds have been cultivated for centuries ...
The Belarusian people at this particular historical moment have a unique opportunity to integrate into Europe as a secondary, albeit respected, recognized, political element of Western Europe ([MDCLXII.] The economic future of Belarus. A forecast. - August 21, 2020). It's not very honorary, but very realistic. Most likely, the Kyrgyz people do not have such a chance now.
It remains to formulate well-known recommendations:
- to take the path of virtues and love for the Motherland,
- take care of your state and its international reputation, uphold democratic values,
- to think more,
- to work harder,
- to study more,
- to show more realism, distrust of the possibilities of quick, radical solutions, to show more patience and resilience in trials ...
