I did not pay attention to one of them in due time. There was a set of various details. But somehow in some occasion I, approximately in about ten years, found in Wikipedia of data on active participation of Nicolas Sarkozy in settlement of the Russian-Georgian conflict (2008). It seems, the agreement "Medvedev - Sarkozy" was mentioned.

Modern international situation very difficult. Memories of that effective mediatorial function, diplomatic role which were realized by Nicolas Sarkozy when settling the Russian-Georgian conflict look very positively.
It is clear, that today's situation became more difficult. But, after all, the USA, Great Britain, France - civilization allies of Russia. And the attempts of "wanderings" which are periodically undertaken by Russia after the conclusion of the peace Treaty of Brest-Litovsk only harm. First of all, they harmed Russia. But also they did not bring not to Europe, nor the civilized world anything good.
The second event is connected with Muammar Gaddafi's personality and his attempts to play an active international role. Recently I met a geographical map on the Internet. This map is demonstrating a network of roads laid (paved) by Ancient Rome. I do not know, this map is how truthful, but I with surprise found that Ancient Rome laid roads around the Mediterranean Sea.
If indeed, Ancient Rome has created a kind of "Mediterranean belt", the Muammar Gaddafi took into account this historical fact to an insufficient extent. And even if Gaddafi gave money to some European politicians, it could not influence at the history of the Mediterranean (in a broad sense).
Naturally, I am not a specialist in the personal and political biography Nicolas Sarcazi. But the habit directs to the aspiration to draw some conclusions.
