The Monologue about the hypothesis of "Historical resonance"

The Monologue about the hypothesis of "Historical resonance"

The acquaintance with the material by Evgeny Trifonov "Portuguese "gift" for the USSR", posted online, at first caused a feeling of something familiar.

So... And events (after 1991) on the territory of the former USSR aren't similar a processes which took place in the Portuguese overseas territories after "The Carnation Revolution" of 1974?

Also the material by Evgeny Trifonov "The civil war in Zheltorossiya" ("Гражданская война в Желтороссии") was interesting.

Whether it is possible to find up to events in Zheltorossiya any historical analogy?

And, if we can find an analogy, then how to call the resulting generalization?

I decided to call the view of some historical comparisons a Historical resonance, the hypothesis of "Historical resonance".

As you know, some archaeological sites (places) near the Don river have a record number of historical layers. People on the banks of the Don lived from prehistoric times.

When Starocherkassk (Stanitsa Starocherkasskaya. Until 1805 - Cherkassk) was founded? Before the 13th century? After the 13th century? ("...between the Azov and Caspian seas a new warlike Republic appeared..." (Quote from Wikipedia)).

The occurrence of Novocherkassk is dated for sure - 1805 ("Novocherkassk ... was founded 18 (30) may 1805 as the capital of the Don Host Oblast (of the Oblast of the Don Cossack Host) " - Wikipedia).

Officially huge amount of works on fixing of borders the Don Host Oblast was carried out under the general guide of Grigory Potemkin.

Actually the Don Host Oblast existed long before these works.

How can these historical details be connected with the hypothesis of "Historical resonance"?

In the era of Grigory Potemkin and Catherine II there was a final Partition and dissolution of The Rzeczpospolita (The Commonwealth) (1795). The Rzeczpospolita (Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth), the Poland and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania ceased to exist as independent States.

Poland has never agreed with the loss of sovereignty. There were more or less regular uprisings. Diplomatic potential was accumulated - Europe and the world, despite the political realities of that time, recognized Poland as an independent state.

November 11, 1918 is recognized as the independence day of Poland. According the book by A.Yu. Gusarov "100 great Americans" (rus.), in his speech to Congress on January 8, 1918, President Thomas Woodrow Wilson formulated theses about the World War I, which were called "Fourteen points". Among others, was a such a provision: "the Creation of an independent Polish state, uniting all Polish territories with access to the sea." ("An independent Polish state should be erected which should include the territories inhabited by indisputably Polish populations, which should be assured a free and secure access to the sea, and whose political and economic independence and territorial integrity should be guaranteed by international covenant.")

According to the book by Z. M. Gershov "Woodrow Wilson" (1983) (rus.), the only foreign award (order), which was accepted by the 28th president of the United States, was the "White eagle" (P. 292). The government of Poland awarded the order to Woodrow Wilson in 1922.

The significant role of Cossack troops in the defense of Russia and in the Russia's foreign policy is well known.

Perhaps we can recall the "Polish campaign" of the time of Catherine the Great, and the "Hungarian campaign" of the time of Nicholas the First, some international attempts in accordance with the plans of Paul the First... Naturally, in history in the foreground - the heroism of the Cossack troops in 1812 and during the World War I.

One way or another, but, unlike Poland, the Don Host Oblast met the events of 1917 without diplomatic potential, without development projects in the new, changed conditions...

After some time, the Don Host Oblast ceased to exist. Other Cossack "territories"ceased to exist. ("March 20, 1920, the Don Host Oblast was abolished" - Wikipedia (rus.). The Article "The Don Host Oblast" (rus.)).

The leaders of the Don Host Oblast felt a problem very sharply. Ataman A. M. Kaledin committed suicide on January 29 (February 11), 1918. Ataman P. N. Krasnov saw a no way out - he tried to look for something in the Germany of a time of Adolf Hitler...

In part of the territory of The Grand Duchy of Lithuania the Belarus appeared in 1917-1918-1919 . The population of the Grand Duchy also participated in the uprisings, along with Poland... The democratic layer of the Grand Duchy (after the change of economic, legal and political situation) was transformed into the intelligentsia (technical and creative) of the Russian Empire.

The emergence of the Belarus - is the result of purposeful activities of some figures of the Grand Duchy, or - the result of "creativity" of the Bolshevik (socialist) figures who invented and created the Republics on the territory of the USSR? I am not ready to answer these questions...

The Cossacks received the "Decossackization". Poland and Hungary received a sovereign states... The Belarus appeared on the political map...

Can these events be described by the hypothesis of "Historical resonance"?

About the fate of the educated cultural population of the Portuguese overseas territories after the "Carnation Revolution" (after reading Evgeny Trifonov ), we remembered above.

"F. Castro's drift towards the Soviet Union was no longer in doubt in Washington. And soon it was finally confirmed. In February 1960, during the visit to Havana by the Politburo member A. Mikoyan, the first Soviet-Cuban trade agreement was signed... With the principled consent of Havana, Khrushchev ordered the military to develop a plan for a top-secret operation, which was called "Anadyr"...

... the development of direct air communication between the USSR and Cuba was just beginning (the first flight was made in July 1962), in fact, the only vehicle for the transport of troops were a sea vessels...

On July 7, 1962, a meeting was held in the Kremlin, to which the entire leadership of the Group was invited. The commander of the Group was appointed army General Issa Pliyev (arrived in Cuba under the pseudonym "Ivan Alexandrovich Pavlov - a specialist in agriculture").

  (...)

Khrushchev began the meeting in his usual style: "We in the Central Committee decided to throw for America "hedgehog": to place our missiles in Cuba, so that America could not swallow the island of Freedom. "(...)" (Lavrenov S. I, Popov I. M. the Soviet Union in local wars and conflicts. - Moscow: ACT; Astrel, 2003. (rus.))

Between August, 1945 and 1962 there were a complicated process of allied actions of the USSR and the USA against Japan plus events that began to remotely resemble the construction of The Chinese Eastern Railway and all related processes ("Asia awakens! And "we" - in the forefront!").

  After 1962 the 1974th came.

1974. "In April, 1975 the elections to the Constituent assembly took place. Socialists received 38% of votes, the People's Democratic Party - 26%, and communists - 12%...

By the end of 1975 all colonies of Portugal gained independence." (Wikipedia (rus.). Article "Carnation Revolution").

"... "whites" began a mass outcome (exod) from the released colonies: hundreds of thousands of people who lost everything stormed the ships in ports to leave forever the land [countries] which still yesterday was for them a native earth." (Evgeny Trifonov "Portuguese "gift" for the USSR"
  https://zen.yandex.ru/media/id/5c2bb5cbea039800abdc8fd6/portugalskii-podarok-sssr-5c96a327ae93fd00b22dd347).

If to follow the hypothesis of "Historical resonance", then further it is possible to remember 1991 and the events which followed after 1991...

Whether all this is relevant today?... ("...the development of direct air communication between the USSR and Cuba was just beginning (the first flight was made in July 1962), in fact, the only vehicle for the transport of troops were a sea vessels...")...

"The historical resonance" is a hypothesis ...
