CARACAS, 21 Mar. /TASS./ The leader of the Venezuelan opposition, Guido Juan said that his supporters are preparing for "operation Freedom", which will lead to the seizure of power in Venezuela.

Guaido also said that the authorities of the republic are afraid to arrest him and therefore attack his supporters. "As they [authorities] cannot arrest the interim president [Huang Guaido], they look for his [Guaido] relatives, threaten them and kidnap them. Nicolás Maduro or does not dare to put me in prison ...", - Guaido told. (...)".

The situation of dual power remains. Maduro can't arrest or kill Guido..., only the presence of the rebel speaker (is interim President) keeps neighboring Colombia and Brazil from intervention. As long as there is a chance for an internal and relatively peaceful transition of power, intervention is too acute a treatment. But if Maduro eliminates Guaido, peaceful transition will not be any more, and therefore for neighbors there will be no other plot left for own rescue from waves of refugees.
Guido, meanwhile, goes to long-term strategy, shifting the center of gravity to the organising work. It is about forming of structures as within the country, and about their interception outside Venezuela. Guido established a new power in the Consulates of Venezuela in several States of the USA, where he appointed a new staff (and the staff that have declared loyalty to the new authorities). Similarly, the economic and financial institutions and structures of Venezuela are gradually changing in countries that have not recognized Maduro as President. This strategy will eventually bear fruit-the only countries that Maduro can count on-China, Russia and to some extent Turkey (although the history with the Turks is dark...), in General, the list is small, and even less help. China is strictly limited to the protection of its investments, not interested in the General situation. Rosneft, it seems, takes approximately the same strategy ... . But beyond these events, "allies" is confined largely to the invigorating statements, diplomatic work and a symbolic air flights [with a help]. There are enough big words, of course, but something essential that can change a situation, is not present neither at China, nor at Russia. In any case so far.
Frankly, the main advantage for Maduro remains a relic of the resource superiority over Guido and extreme weakness of Guido in respect of organizational structures.
