One of these two has a hairstyle vaguely reminiscent of the braided hairstyles of rockers cruising the roads on noisy motorcycles. Despite the chilly morning wind, his jacket is unbuttoned across his chest. This unbuttoned jacket reveals a pretension to the ability to overcome all life's obstacles. He was a captain (he sailed along the Don River and the Taganrog Bay), a farmer (he raised turkeys and chickens), and a policeman (he told how he was sent beyond the Arctic Circle to find a Rostovite [Rostov resident]). His account of the trip beyond the Arctic Circle contained curious details. He and someone else had left Rostov wearing coats and arrived into a bitter Arctic cold. Colleagues met them in a car, with spare kits of warm sheepskin coats and felt boots. They flew by helicopter to a reindeer herders' camp. The wanted man was herding reindeer a considerable distance from the herders' camp. They boarded the helicopter again and flew again. Eventually, they found the wanted man and returned with him to Rostov. "Why were you looking for him?" "He left his wife and children; she filed a statement."
Sergei Sergeyevich thought for a moment and asked, "Did this trip cost a lot? A lot of money was spent for flights by plane and helicopter?" The narrator simply replied, "We had a mission, an order."

This episode ended with a pause and facial expressions, from which the listeners could guess that either the owner had returned to the dog or he had commanded the dog to run to him (to the owner).
He was a good dog, all in all! The owner's face reflected his memories and love for Jack. Jack was good at home! And he behaved wonderfully on walks!
The dog's owner's face reflected emotion: something like a crying in the depths of his soul.
But Jack grew old, and he began to move with difficulty. Then came the details: how it was when Jack was moving with difficulty. But Jack lived to be fifteen!
At last, when Jack had almost completely stopped moving, - the narrator sighed, - he called for the doghouse (booth) (vehicle for catching stray dogs). One could tell from the narrator's face: "What else could he do?"
Hearing the word "doghouse (booth) (vehicle for catching stray dogs)," Sergei Sergeyevich involuntarily looked intently at the narrator. Sadness was evident on the face.
"In general, Jack was energetic dog," the narrator continued his recollections. "He didn't like cats very much. He catches a cat behind a barn and ruffles (drags) cat until he strangles cat to death. His muzzle was covered in blood, his entire muzzle was scratched. But he wouldn't let the cat go. He'll only leave the cat when he strangles it.
Sergei Sergeyevich tried to keep up: he told the story of a captain, who got hooked (who was taken the bait).
This captain had signed on (got hired) to a ship, which was carrying saltpeter. The ship's owner stopped paying, and the ship was detained in a Mediterranean port.
The captain and crew posed for photos with signs "We were illegally captured." The port officials realized they couldn't squeeze any money out of the crew and released the captain and crew.
The captain retired (became a pensioner) and bought an apartment in Sochi. Meanwhile, the ship (without captain and crew) remained in port. The saltpeter exploded at some point, destroying half the Mediterranean port.
The participants in the conversation agreed: yes, intuition is essential in any business...
